WDX TRADING SOFTWARE PATCH FOR EXISTING USERS AND NEW USERS

Effective 11/24/2009, the WorldWide Debt Exchange Trading Software can only be accessed at a new IP address.  This change requires that you modify your WDX Trading Software installation by using a simple patch that will make the necessary changes for your software.  You must have the WDX Trading Software installed on your computer in order for the patch to work properly.  If you do not have WDX installed on your machine, you must first download the software from http://www.wwde.com/download.htm.  After the software installation is complete, you will then be able to click on the following link to patch the software. 

For Windows 7 Users

Download the WDX Patch in ZIP File (Windows 7)

  1. Save the ZIP file to your desktop by clicking the link above to download the WDX patch. 
  2. Next, choose to “Save this file to disk” or similar message depending on your version of MS Windows.
  3. Choose the "Desktop" as the destination for your saved file, then click "Save."
  4. When the download is finished you will have a ZIP file on your desktop titled "WDX_Patch_Win7.zip".  Open the ZIP file to find “24.129.189.188.reg"
  5. Double-click the .reg file and you should receive the following message, "Adding information can unintentionally change or delete values and cause components to stop working correctly....."  Click "Yes".
  6. The following message appears, "The keys and values contained in.....have been successfully added to the registry."  Click OK.
  7. You may then log into the WDX Trading Software.

For all other Operating Systems

Download the WDX Patch in ZIP File

  1. Save the ZIP file to your desktop by clicking the link above to download the WDX patch. 
  2. Next, choose to “Save this file to disk” or similar message depending on your version of MS Windows.
  3. Choose the "Desktop" as the destination for your saved file, then click "Save."
  4. When the download is finished you will have a ZIP file on your desktop titled "WDX_Patch.zip".  Open the ZIP file to find “24.129.189.188.exe"
  5. Double-click the .exe file and you should receive the following message, "WDX communication settings have been updated.  Press the OK button to close this application."
  6. You may then log into the WDX Trading Software.
